First, make sure you have the latest iOS and YNAB app version installed on your iPhone. If you’re like me and rarely update all the things, this is your time to level-up on iOS. The update is worth the payoff. Literally.
Once you’re in your Updated Software Era, follow along with Ben M. to connect your Apple Card, Apple Cash, and Savings with Apple Card accounts to YNAB and experience a new level of financial clarity and control.
- In the YNAB app, head to the Accounts tab.
- If you're adding your Apple account(s) to YNAB for the first time, go to “Add Accounts”, select “Linked”, and then “Add Apple Wallet Connection.”
- Decide which accounts you would like to link, then hit Connect.
- You can set a specific time range of data you’d like to include, or simply hit Share with YNAB.
- If you’ve already added your Apple account(s) to YNAB, check out this walk-through for all the details on getting them linked up.
And that’s it! YNAB will now import your most recent Apple Card, Apple Cash, and Savings with Apple Card transactions every time you open the app… or even when you have it running in the background. (Sometimes technology is so cool, I can’t even.)
