I’ve long said that time should be spent managing the budget, not managing accounts (if you take care of your budget, the account balances take care of themselves). However, YNAB users wanted an easy way to make sure that what the bank was doing was what they were doing. After quite a bit of thought, I came to the conclusion that we truly could have the best of both worlds: simple account tracking with an extremely effective budgeting methodology laid across the top.
As a result, YNAB Pro 2.0 was born.
Managing your money just got easier.

Hi Michael,
We’re now a couple months out. We scrapped a significant portion and are starting from scratch with it. We want it to be right more than we want it to be shipped (though we do want to ship it very badly!)

Hi, I just want a program on which I can run all my accounts: bank, savings, visa, etc, nothing complicated. I have used Quicken, but it has just crashed and I have lost 8 years of accounts. I want something simple, effective and can run in £s and euros. Will YNAD meet my requirements?
Regards, Mike Wraight

Hi Mike, I’ve never heard of YNAD, but YNAB will certainly help
(sorry, couldn’t resist). YNAB is first and foremost about budgeting, where your budget categories overlay your physical accounts (bank, savings, visa, etc.). If you’re looking for simple and effective, you’ve found it.
