I’ve thought about sending her a t-shirt.
Or maybe sending a courier with a copy of the software.
What would you say to Jen to convince her?

How about partnering with an ebook to offer some really sound financial advice. The ebook could be downloaded after the order is placed.

I was WONDERING where all those amazing, dedicated users of YNAB were coming from…I checked the forum (that I’ve been reading) but it was here all along.
Thank you so much.
Unless you have maternity t-shirts it will be a while before I could sport the super-sexy YNAB logo in t-shirt format :) Also, I’d hate it if you sent me a copy. I am kind of hardcore about supporting small businesses and that would make me feel like I needed a shower on the inside.
So many of the comments – both on the blog and in the forum – are amazing. Moments of epiphany – feeling in control of finances for the first time – making your money work.
For me it’s more about the easiest way to see, at a glance, what’s going on. Once I figure out what date to start importing transactions from so I don’t keep throwing my not-in-the-negative account into the negative, I think I’ll be sold. (I’m sure the answer is on the forum, I’m going to check there after I finish this.)
The free trial is genius for this product. Once I’ve been using it for 60 days I have a feeling I won’t have a choice but to dive in for the long haul. In the meantime I’m having fun figuring it all out :) Just tonight I figured out how to import posts from Bank of America (thanks forum for the answer!!) and felt like I’d reached the summit of Mt. Everest. (The link is tiny and difficult to find on the BoA site.)
Thank you for the post and thanks to your readers for the great comments!!
