I've been using YNAB Pro for 3 months now. Christmas was a Nuclear Disaster. I didn't know we were spending as much as we did until I started tallying the receipts. That's behind us now and the New Year looks promising as we pay off our Christmas Debts. I had practiced the past couple of months and am getting the knack of it now.
I pay more attention to my expenditures. I am spending less and saving more. I now pay my bills the day they come in and save on Credit interest and late fees.
I have scheduled regular minimum bill payments in case I forget to budget for it. I actually got the Bank Account download to work from my Bank even though, it wasn't listed, by using the Help.
I've found out while using the Scheduled Payment button that maintaining minimum balances in some Bank Accounts equals 5% to 7% per annum of those amounts in waived Bank fees. Not bad Interest in these times. I now sleep better at night.
