		<description>To be honest, I made a conscious decision not to follow Rule #1. Or at least to not follow it in the way Jesse suggests.

I don&#039;t time bills to paycheques. Every two weeks, I&#039;m paid, and I budget that money out to my categories. My categories are funded to the point where I can budget an equal amount to them bi-weekly, and my bills will be covered as they come due. I have plenty of financial cushioning in place to take care of me, in case something unexpected arrises.

I don&#039;t think living on last month&#039;s income is the only way to avoid living paycheque to paycheque. For me, I need to put my money to use right away. I can&#039;t stand the thought of letting it sit for a month, first.</description>
