We make one meal X 3 once or twice / month. Then we get together and swap. That gives me 3 frozen delicous main dishes that I can pull out of the freezer on a busy night. Works nice with bigger kids and our ever changing schedules. We also pot luck it once a month together for the food and fellowship. I participate in this same concept with two other families. It saves money, time, and you can get to know each other a little better each time. All of that added up is enough to surely make anyone consider giving it a shot. I'm not sure I'd want to with the neighbors we currently are living around but I'll look into this once we're a bit more stable with people a bit more like us in those ways.
