I've tried just about everything under the sun; I am fed up with Quicken, Quicken Online, Mint, Mvelopes, etc. etc. etc. I have been so discouraged entering the same data in, creating all the new categories, etc for each new application to find out that it doesn't really do budgeting. Mvelopes was the closet, but I didn't care for their interface, it wasn't compatible with my bank (initially) and the subscription fee really turned me off. As a Mac user with friends who have really talked up YNAB, I am very excited to hear that the more robust YNAB software is coming to OS X. Now I cannot wait to get my hands on it and finally get a handle on my financial life. Really looking forward to it! I selfishly hope the release is right around the corner!
