Just taking a few minutes to toot the YNAB horn a bit. How cool is this? YNAB Pro is the #1 Bestseller in the ‘Money Management’ category on Amazon — beating out both Quicken and Microsoft Money!
Also, notice the average user rating — 4.5 stars with 70 reviews! Thanks to everyone that’s left a review! (Feel free to leave your own 5-star review if you haven’t yet.. :) You don’t need to have bought the software through Amazon in order to write a review.)
I finally signed for Amazon a couple of months ago, so this time I didn’t chicken out of leaving a review at the ‘sign up now’ page…
It won’t let me leave feedback on the US version of the site as I haven’t purchased anything from it. Let us know when you go international with it and I’ll gladly comment!
I left my 5 star Review and was pleased to do so. I hope YNAB sells many copies for you and it just keeps getting better and better over the years.
Thanks for such a great product and faithful support.
I needed to get away from Quicken as it just was not meeting my budgeting needs according to Dave Ramsey’s (FPU)budgeting standards. I found this software and downloaded it directly from the YNAB website. At first, it seemed a bit confusing, but I quickley adapted to this wonderful zero based accounting method by watching the tutorials and the wonderful help tools offered at YNAB’s website.
Before, I would have to create a budget spreadsheet, then worry about fitting the figures into Quicken, then try to balance my quicken account without any errors. It became time consuming and frustrating to keep up with. I have had it a couple of days now and so far I am liking it.
The only con, so far, is the print capabilities of this software needs improvement!! The register comes out very distorted from my HP 750xi, which works with everything else. Another thing that needs to be added is
a bank reconcilation wizard of some sort, such as Quicken has, to help people
to straighten out their checking account balances. Otherwise, I would give NYAB a 5 star rating. Its a good product with lots of potential, IF, your wanting to live on a budget plan of some sort.
What I like best about it, is they don’t try to send your personal business out all over the Internet, like Intuit does, which is a big plus! Also there is a lot of room built in for personal notations, unlike Quicken.
