gee I’m not a ynaber yet but I did think what category do the new shoes I just bought go into …transportation or health since I didn’t have clothes or shoes in my budget.I did see the old me(spendthrift) and find a similar pair of shoes in the garage which brought back that, I can’t stay on a budget feeling…I am going to keep on going though…I only have been at this 2 weeks and can hope as they say in another program progress and not perfection!

My husband use to stress when the car tax and service and tyres for the car were all due at once, but now he just says “is everything covered?” I say “yes” and start to explain that there is x amount in this category and y in that one and together with the other category it’s all covered but he just waves his hand and doesn’t want to know, just that it’s ok.
It makes me laugh because he used to say that he got too stressed to budget and that I couldn’t budget to save our lives!! but with YNAB I certainly can. And I love it.

That is soooo me! I love YNAB and I love budgeting. I call myself a “budget nerd” and people laugh, but it’s true. I love budgeting even when we don’t have a lot of money to budget. It’s just fun, and yes, I do look forward to a new month to start on another budget!
