Hi there

Just joined and started using software.

Ive imported 4 months worth of transactions.
Which means 4 lots of Salary paid into my account.

What Income types do I use for the Salary from say 4 months ago?

You could enter each one as income for "this month" and they will count for the month in which they are dated.

But with YNAB there is a lot more trouble than benefit in entering a lot of past data. It is highly recommended that you start with today's balances for all your accounts and go forward from there. It's a lot easier.
