Hi, I am new to forums, but not really YNAB. I just did the latest upgrade, and now I have no auto fill! I use YNAB pro for my small business, and the auto fill is great, as I can tell if I have paid a prev bill, and for how much (if that makes sense) , - how do I turn it back on????

Thanks.

Right click on a Payee and select Edit Payee Rules.
You can now turn Autofill On/Off for individual columns according to your preference.
It was changed because most users didn't want especially the amount or sometimes the memo to fill in automatically.

Probably be a good idea to add the abover thread to the balancing section: Balancing with the budget in YNAB3

Thanks Rose. I'm probably going to have to do a complete overhaul of the library as much of it is probably outdated anyway, and with YNAB 3 I'll probably need to make some major changes. So, any shout outs to good threads are most appreciated as I don't frequent the forums much anymore.

Help - I'm getting an Air error on install:
http://www.youneedabudget.com/forum/ynab-f38/another-install-error-ynab-t7578.html#p51261

Seems like these are pretty common, so would be worthwhile putting this thread in for most of them.

Is there a cheat sheet for YNAB 3?

I just purchased it and am still learning how to do things. I think I am set because I had an "A-HA!" moment today but I am still hesitant and uncertain.

Thanks.

Mazod - I'm glad you had an A-HA! moment - those are fun in YNAB. :-) There is not currently a cheat sheet for YNAB 3. Steve (Mudie) made those, I'll check in and see if he can make any necessary changes for 3 so we can get that up there for new users.

To all - keep the posts coming with ideas to improve the library. Just post a comment and I'll change the main post. And I'm hoping to finally go through it this weekend and eliminate anything that is no longer relevant. So, if you see any good threads about YNAB 3 between now and then, be sure to post them here.

Patzer's formula for YNAB 3: ynab-f38/patzer-formula-for-ynab-t7883.html

Somehow this feels like shameless self-promotion.

Pointing to another of Patzer's posts:

Why do I need a buffer:

It does a good job of laying out lumpy vs. non-lumpy, etc.

These are great guys! I will add them into the main post today or tomorrow. It has to be coordinated because the site blocks how many links you can add into a post - and it already has way more than the allotted number, so I need a little CS support to get it done. :-)
