You know you're addicted to YNAB when....

...you are in a store and amongst the usual "Do I need this?" and "Can I afford this?" spiels going on in your head, there's a loud, persistent "And how exactly do I enter this transaction in the Register? Do I do a split? What category? How much did I have left in X category? BUT THIS WILL RUIN MY BUFFER!!!!!!"

Ahem. Not that I've ever done that. No sirree. Not me....

Heh nice.

You know you are addicted to YNAB when your 8 year old asks "what does budgeted mean vs. Outflow"?

You know you are addicted to YNAB when . . .

. . . corporate HR sends out an email in November telling you the 2009 furlough (6.15% reduced pay) will be over in January, and you immediately start thinking about how to get through January's higher medical insurance costs before the restored pay hits your budget in February.
