iPhone budget categories and amounts don't appear

I downloaded the YNAB app for my iPhone, but when I log into it on my phone, even though I synced it, all of my budget categories (and budgeted amounts) don't show up. Please help!

None of them appear. The categories appear but they're all set to zero.

I just wondered, and you're going to hate me, but I actually don't know the answer. :oops: I'm sure almost everyone but us is either asleep or out at a New Year's Eve party, so it might be sometime tomorrow before our regulars come back on.

But what the heck, I might as well ask: did you get the "the sync was successful" message on the desktop and the "import succeeded" message on the phone?

I'm having the exact same issue. I've emailed tech support and posted on the forum but have yet to begin a resolution to the issue. Have you had any luck?

I am having the same issue as the original poster and I do get the message "the sync was successful" on the desktop YNAB application but on my iphone, it says that I need to update my version of YNAB on the desktop. The account balances and transactions seem to update on my iphone but the bugdet categories in my budget are all $0.00. I do not get the "Import Succeeded" message on the iphone, just a message saying I do not have the most updated version of YNAB on the desktop, which I do.

Mine has the same issue. The math is right, so if I budgeted $100 and spent $90 in a category, the app displays that I have $10 remaining to spend. But if I want a reminder or what I originally budgeted, or if I want to make an on-the-fly decision about moving money between budgets, I can't do that because I can't see how much was originally budgeted.

It's a problematic glitch.

Please make sure you have budgeted amounts for that month, as the iPhone app only shows the current month.

If you have budgeted amounts for the current month, make sure you have the latest version of YNAB (desktop installed) from our website installed. If that doesn't help, please contact support at support@youneedabudget.com with a screenshot from your running desktop app (the title bar with the version is sufficient) and they'll know what to do.
