Do we have any Swedes here? =)

How many Swedes are using YNAB here? :) Or from the nordic countries? I know of two more than myself, here in Sweden. One of them is a friend of mine who I told about this magnificent software. =)

Greetings, slipped_away, I am not Swedish but I have visited Scandinavia, absolutely LOVED it and I am really glad you are here. Hoping more of your fellow countrymen will soon join but for now, the rest of us posting here are happy you're the first!

I'm half Finnish, half Aussie (dual citizenship), but live in Australia. Does that count? :D

Hmm...born in Australia and lived here most of my life, so I guess that means I'm not very authentically Scandinavian?! My Mum's family are mainly in the East & up north past Rovaniemi. I've travelled a fair bit around Finland and also the northern end of Norway, but I'm afraid I haven't made it to Sweden yet. Maybe on my next trip? Hoping to be there for Christmas either this year or next year, depending on what YNAB tells me I can afford!

Haha, brilliant! I'd say you're enough Scandinavian, haha. My wife is from Norway. So that means that Norway is becoming a "home" country for me as well. You're in the game! ;) But don't forget Sweden! I'll be in Norway for Christmas. and probably during the summer. Better pays there, haha.

My mother is Swedish. I live in the US, but grew up overseas. I spent summers with my grandparents in Stockholm until we moved to the states.

American here, but half of me is Norwegian & I cherish it. (The other half is mutt. LOL) My mom & her family came to America when she was only 2 years old. She was born in Bergen & spent her first years in the little town of Os. I LOVE it there. So beautiful & friendly. Was just there for the first time in 20+ years this past July. 9 days spent in Oslo & the Bergen area. I was so sad to leave - to the point that I was wondering if I could convince my husband to move there. LOL But, uh, once he saw the picture taken from my tante's house with a glacier in the background, my battle was lost.

I've never been to Sweden & only have been in Iceland for a layover to Norway. My cousin & her family now live in Stavanger because her husband is Army and they were fortunate to have his bid accepted for that station. I'm living vicariously through her now! :D

I'm not Swedish but my uncle, through marriage, is Norwegian. I do love reading Henning Mankell's novels - does that count?
