I want to help people learn to budget, to get out of debt, to control their finances, and to excel in life. I'm a huge Dave Ramsey and YNAB fan, and and the philosophies behind all of these teachings are imperative for peace of mind and success in life. I have a Masters of Arts in Teaching, and teaching is truly one of my biggest passions. I'm extremely interested in seeing how I might be able to connect and help with this idea of YNAB classes. I live on the east side of Cincinnati. As a graduate of Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University, I have practiced the rules for over a year now, with great results. I was turned onto YNAB after my FPU class, and free FPU online subscription, was over, and I am so glad I found it. It has tranformed my and my wife's lives, because we have taken control of our finances and set ourselves up to reach and lives out major goals.

I was on a webinar last week with a woman at my company's main office, going through a presentation for compliance purposes. I actualy veered off the critique (of me) and opened up my National City online accounts and my YNAB budget! She was sharing with me over the phone her husband's struggles to budget, and by sharing with her over the computer the system I use, she was encouraged to reapproach the whole thing with her husband, and actually asked if I could do the same with him though GoToMeeting, and go as far in depth as I want. I was so excited at this opportunity to help someone in an area that I am so passionate about. I hope this is something God is calling me to enage and grow in.

Thank you all for being a part of this, and for the chance to grow with others.

Thank you for your interest! Where are you located?

Sorry, I put it in there, but it's hard to find.

I live in Cincinnati, on the east side. My address is Cincinnati, but I'm 20 minutes from downtown.

I LOVE my YNAB but I am missing and messing up some of the major componets of the system.

I would even be willing to travel to have a seminar of some sort. Please, please let me know if there are any in AZ, NV or NM. YNAB has already improved our marriage and taken my stress level down to a manageable level but I know that if I really understood it better I could do better.

P.S. I really am fairly intelligent just missing a couple of "budgeting" genes. I am very willing to learn.

Just seen this, although I know the thread is a bit old. Do you have enough users in the UK to run a class? I've just started my training as a teacher in adult education and I love using YNAB. I've worked in Accounts for 7 years, and I want to specialise in Numeracy teaching so the numbers thing will be fine. I've been a YNAB user for quite a few years, on and off (have a full 14 months under my belt at the moment)

I'd love to teach YNAB. I know so many people have trouble with the concept of saving for a rainy day, or even just for their car insurance, so the opportunity to help users understand would be amazing.

So if, in the future, you'd like to hold face-to-face classes in the UK and you want to take a chance on a rookie, let me know....

Are you still looking for people to teach classes on YNAB? I noticed the original post was from the YNAB Pro days, so a lot has changed. I would love to teach a YNAB class in my area or Greenville, SC.

If you're still looking for teachers, I have a training background and would enjoy doing a local class in the Twin Cities metro area (Minneapolis/St. Paul).

I am also interested in training, I currently am an applications trainer and run virtual classes 3 days a week. I live in San Antonio, TX and would love to lead a training session out here ( or virtually!).
