bonuses password protected?!

YNAB Basic was discontinued on December 31, 2009. You can still try your luck at getting questions answered here, but we all highly recommend you look at upgrading.

bonuses password protected?!

Postby njrollergirl » Tue May 26, 2009 5:28 pm

i just downloaded YNAB pro with the bonus excel docs, and when i tried to edit the bonus docs an alert came up telling me that "the cell or chart you are trying to change is protected and therefore read only." it then told me how to unprotect it, however it then prompts me to put in a password. has anyone else come across this problem, and if so, how did you remedy it?
thanks!

How fortunate that I stopped by the forums today! I'm having a similar issue. Anyone mind sending me the Bonus pw?

Thanks in advance.

I just tried to use the "bonus" software with the mortgage analyzer, etc. It appears to be read only. What is up? Can anyone help?
Thanks
By the way, I use open office, not excel.

Make sure that you extract the files out of the zip file and then open them from the folder you extracted them into. That should clear it up, but if not let us know. :)

I have the Bonus spreadsheets but they seem to be password protected.
