Is V. 0.9.16.2016 the stable version?

Postby danno_schmanno » Sun Feb 07, 2010 8:42 pm

Hi I was using the BETA version, but i'm not sure if I properly installed the stable version when it was released.

I'm currently have version 0.9.16.2016 installed.

Thanks for any help.

That is the most current release yes. It is quite stable, as I'm sure most others here will attest.
Assuming you bought the license, you'll be automatically informed when updates are ready, and prompted to install.

Where do you get this version? I was participating in the private beta and the most current version I could find (and am running) is 9.06.2015. When I click to find updates, it doesn't find any.....but I don't know if it is just looking for private betas.

Thanks,
Julie

I'm not really sure where I got it, Julie, and that's why I was asking if I had the latest version. I, too, was using the private BETA, and was updating through the Adobe platform whenever there was a new release.

Sorry for the confusion.

Is it stable enough to retire my YNAB version 2 PC,? I'd prefer to use the Mac version only , but not if there is any loss of data or functionality.
Thanks.

I can only speak from personal experience, but I have retired Ynab Pro (2) here and use 3 exclusively.

I've completely migrated to YNAB 3 and have been very happy with the move. Its eats more memory, but the interface and improvements are well worth it.

Thanks for the replies. I am specifically referring to the Mac version 3 replacing the PC version 2 (used under VMWare Fusion) Anyone made the switch? Good experience?

Riiiight. Mac version...not the one I'm using. Sorry. Can't speak to its reliability.

I tell you though, if the YNAB Iphone APP is any good, I might actually consider getting Iphone.

Lots of us using 3 on the mac with no problems. There's only one version. It runs on windows and mac (and linux...but I don't know anything about that).

Running great on my iMac, especially after installing Adobe Air 2.0 beta. I am using YNAB 3 only now and look back at Pro with fond regard!

Good stuff!

Another vote of stability on the Mac platform. Been running it since beta was released and besides the documented bugs here and there, has been very stable for me. I DID start fresh, tho, and didnt import my previous YNAB data.
