YNAB You Need A Budget

I have budgeted all my income for the month and balance to $0. But when I look at the checking account balances in comparison to what is left to be spent/paid, I am cashflow short. Meaning, I have $199.00 in bills to pay, but the cash is all gone. Yet, I have budgeted for these items and my budget is at $0. I have balanced all the accounts to the bank balance and have accounted for all my debit transactions and outstanding items. So, I am not sure where my error might be.

Any suggestions?

Did you start the month in debt? Or have you got income arriving in-month?

My guess is that you have some transactions that don't have categories, so the money went out but was not accounted for in the budget. I'm sure Patzer will have a more detailed analysis when he arrives.

It will tell you whether your YNAB accounts balance with the budget side of YNAB. Your accounts already balance with the bank, so now you need to verify whether they balance with the budget, or determine how far the two sides are off.
