Jesse, don't be discouraged. Not matter what date you picked to start upgrade pricing, someone will be disappointed because they missed it by one day. We know you are doing your best to be fair to as many people as possible.

I was holding off buying it until ver. 3. but I went ahead and bought on Sept. 25, once I knew I could upgrade to ver. 3 at no additional cost. I have not decided if I will start using it now or wait for ver. 3, but at least I'm in. I also thought it might help your cash flow if people like me who were going to buy would go ahead now, rather than wait.

Jesse, I did the same thing as dsunde's earlier post. I was going to wait since I own Macs at home. I buckled under and bought Pro knowing that I could upgrade to the new version. I've began putting information into Pro (I use PC's at work). I can't wait for the YNAB 3. Hurry up already! Just kidding. Take your time and get it right from the start.

Thank you for this news, though forgive me, I am a little confused as one who has yet to purchase this software.

What is my best (most cost efficient) option? I was going to purchase YNAB Pro, when I started reading about YNAB 3.

Do I purchase Pro now? Do I purchase the Beta and then YNAB 3? I guess I don't know what is best for someone in my situation (and best for my budget, haha).
