While we’ve gone through great lengths to provide support to the growing YNAB Community, there are some that have expressed a desire for one-on-one coaching.
There are qualified YNAB Coaches standing by, waiting to guide you step-by-step through what can appear to be a very daunting process (especially if you’ve never budgeted before).

- Help you articulate and establish goals.
- Guide you step-by-step in implementing the YNAB Methodology.
- Provide any help you require in using your YNAB software.
- Answer any and every question you have along the way.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I purchase a smaller amount of time, maybe just an hour?
An hour honestly isn’t enough time to really do what needs to be done. I don’t think it would be money well spent.
Will my coach try and sell me anything?
Absolutely not. Their job is to assess your current financial situation and help you implement the YNAB methodology and software. They will try and sell you on the methodology, that is certain.
Do I really need coaching?
That’s entirely up to you! There’s a large community of very helpful people available for questions, and there are lots of resources available for free. The coaching is there so that a helpful person can focus specifically on your situation and provide customized, tailored advice.
How soon can I get started?
Your YNAB Coach will contact you within 48 hours (most likely sooner) so you can get started right away.
How are YNAB Coaches hired? Can I become one?
YNAB Coaches are hired based on 1) their knowledge of money management with the YNAB system, 2) their impressive teaching/communication skills and 3) their desire to help others. Every coach has traveled the same road you’re likely traveling right now and each is excited about the opportunity to help a “fellow traveler”.
