2. Beginner Budget Workshop

During this course, participants will work on creating their own budget files while the coach provides direction and answers questions. You’ll need to be at a computer where you can access your YNAB file. This course is designed for people who are starting a new budget file. Please make sure you have your current bank balances at hand at the start of the class.
This class is an excellent follow up to the Intro to YNAB 3 course.

3. The YNAB Buffer – Everything you wanted to know and more!

Are you confused about the YNAB Buffer? What is it exactly? Is it an Emergency Fund? Where should you keep it – in Checking or Savings? How do you build one? During this course we’ll answer the most common questions about the YNAB Buffer.

4. On and Off Budget Accounts

During this course, we’ll discuss the differences between On and Off Budget Accounts and how to set them up in YNAB 3. We’ll look in depth at the “Budget Threshold” and how money flows from Accounts into the Budget. We’ll also discuss how to transfer money between Accounts.

5. Account Management – Handling Credit Cards in YNAB 3

This course will demonstrate how to set up your Credit Card Accounts in YNAB 3, and how to manage purchases, payments and interest. Whether you have a card you are just trying to pay off or a card that you use for everything and pay in full each month, this course will show you everything you need to manage Credit Cards efficiently in YNAB 3.

6. Account Management – Handling Savings Accounts in YNAB 3

During this course, we’ll discuss how to handle Savings Accounts and how you can use the Budget to make this easier. We’ll talk about how to set up Savings Accounts and Savings Categories and demonstrate that through the use of the Budget, you can minmize the number of Accounts you are managing.

7.Balancing your Budget with your YNAB Accounts

In this course you’ll learn how to reconcile your YNAB Accounts to your Bank Accounts and then take things a step further. We’ll discuss in depth the importance of making sure the number in your Accounts match those in the Budget. We’ll learn how money flows from Accounts to the Budget, and we’ll learn a basic formula you can use to make sure things are in balance.

8. Importing, Reports and the Scheduler – How YNAB can make your life easier!

9. Stay on Track – Monthly Check-In Webinar

During this class, we’ll discuss ways you can stay on top of your budget, good budget habits, and common pitfalls. We’ll also answer questions from participants.
Each participant is encouraged to submit one question they’d like to see answered in depth during the webinar. Please be aware that it may not be possible to answer all questions submitted during the class due to time limitations.
