Your Time Zone:
Take this class first
If you are new to YNAB, this is the place to start! It provides a solid, in depth introduction on how to get started using three simple steps.
After you've taken "Getting Started with YNAB"
This class is much more interactive than our other classes. Participants will work on creating their own budget while the coach provides direction and answers questions. This class is designed for people who are starting a new budget, and is an excellent follow up to the Getting Started with YNAB class.
During this class we'll discuss how credit cards are handled in YNAB. We'll go over how to set up a credit card account, budget for prior debt, budget for new purchases, record spending and payments and handle interest.
During this class we'll go over the most important thing you need to do to maintain your budget: Reconciliation. We'll look in detail about how that works and how to use importing to make it easier. We'll also discuss the importance of checking the budget after reconciling.
Do you struggle with budgeting because of your pay cycle? Do you need to stretch a big paycheck over several months? How do you budget monthly if you are paid weekly or bi-weekly? What if you get paid once at the end of the month? We'll look at how to handle all of these situations. By following YNAB's four rules and implementing a simple three step process, you'll be able to adapt to any of these pay cycles.
Each of YNAB's Teachers is a YNAB success story. Their experience makes them uniquely qualified to show you how to change your life with YNAB.
